Everything you need to know about UCAN Sports Box Cricket League

Cricket League Rules
Rule 01
General Rules
All matches will be played under standard box cricket rules, unless otherwise specified by UCAN Sports.
Teams must arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled match time.
A minimum of 6 players is required for a team to start a match.
Teams with fewer than 6 players will automatically forfeit the match.
All players must be registered with UCAN Sports prior to participating in any match.
Match schedules and decisions made by UCAN Sports Management are final.
Rule 02
Team Composition
Minimum: 6 players
Maximum: 11 players (including the captain)
9 players will be on the field during play.
Teams must have registered jersey colors, and all players must wear matching jerseys.
Player substitutions are permitted:
Between innings only, or
In case of injury, subject to umpire approval
Rule 03
Match Format
Each match will consist of 6 overs per side.
Bowling restrictions:
Only 1 bowler may bowl a maximum of 2 overs
In case of rain or adverse weather conditions, UCAN Sports Management will decide:
Match continuation
Reduction of overs
Result or no-result outcome
Rule 04
Points System
Win: 2 points
No Result / Abandoned Match: 1 point each
Loss: 0 points
Walkover / Forfeit: 2 points awarded to the opposing team
League standings are determined by:
Total Points
Net Run Rate (NRR) — used to break points ties
Rule 05
Code of Conduct
All players must maintain sportsmanship and respect toward opponents, umpires, and officials.
Verbal or physical abuse will result in immediate suspension.
Sledging, intimidation, and aggressive behavior are strictly prohibited.
Players must accept the umpire's decision without argument.
Any player found guilty of match-fixing or deliberate unfair play will be permanently banned from all UCAN Sports events.
Rule 06
Equipment & Safety
Batsmen must wear proper protective gear (recommended: gloves, pads, helmet).
Only UCAN Sports–approved cricket balls will be used during matches.
Players are responsible for their own cricket equipment. Balls and wickets will be provided by the league.
UCAN Sports is not responsible for injury resulting from lack of protective gear.
Rule 07
Payments & Refunds
Full registration fees must be paid before the first match.
No refunds will be provided once the league has commenced.
Teams failing to complete payments on time may be:
Suspended
Removed from the league without further notice
Rule 08
Disciplinary Actions
Yellow Card:
Official warning for minor violations
Valid for the entire season
Red Card:
Suspension for 1–3 matches, depending on severity
Permanent Ban:
For serious offenses including violence, abuse, or match-fixing
UCAN Sports Management reserves the right to impose disciplinary action as deemed appropriate in the best interest of the league.
Rule 09
Final Authority
UCAN Sports Management reserves the right to:
Modify rules if required
Resolve disputes
Take final decisions in unforeseen circumstances
All decisions by UCAN Sports Management are final and binding.

You can register for a league by visiting our Programs page, selecting your desired program, and completing the registration process. You can register as a team captain (with your own team) or as an individual player.
